Ensuring our safety and integrity...

It is a rule of the Amateur Athletic Union of the United States (A.A.U.) as well as the California Interscholastic Federation (C.I.F.) that no A.A.U. youth football player may participate in any high school football program and an A.A.U. club youth football program simultaneously. This participation violates the "dual participation" rule of each organization. Any athlete in violation of the "dual participation" rule nullifies all insurance coverage for all players and coaches in that game and voids all liability coverage otherwise afforded by being a member of an A.A.U. club in good standing. Additionally any player in violation of the "dual participation" rule is therefore ineligible to also participate in C.I.F. football and all games his high school football team played will be forfeited and that player is therefore ineligible for this season as well as the next. The member club fostering any player in violation of the "dual participation" rule is therefore fully liable for any losses or claims that arise as a result of any player participating in violation of the "dual participation" rule. If any person has knowledge that a player is in violation of the "dual participation" rule they should bring this matter to the attention of the A.A.U. immediately for the protection of all players. You may contact Pam Marshall, National Director, The A.A.U. at (407) 934-7200 or Keith Knoll, National Football Chairman, A.A.U. Football at (715) 231-4000. Your assistance and cooperation is greatly appreciated and warranted for the safety of our player and integrity of the A.A.U. rules and standards. Your information will be kept in strict confidence.

Thank you.

SIGN UP FOR SPRING 2012 TACKLE FOOTBALL!

The coming Spring season will be kicking off on February 13th 2012. Our league is already aligned for weekend games (Saturday) and we have our Spring tackle commissioner set and in place (Terrell Farley, founder of "Kids Come First") who will facilitate game schedules & standings. This Spring season will be more reflective of the fall season with playoffs and a championship. This is a great opportunity to prepare for the following fall season and is a valuable tool for the dedicated football player who is seeking to learn the game or for those about to take their game to the high school  ranks. Players may participate in other Spring sports such as baseball or track and field without losing their standing on their Trojans football team.

Practice days will be Thursday & Fridays. There will be additional days to ensure conditioning and issuance of gear at the start of the season but once our routine settles in count on the regularly scheduled (2) days of practice per week.

The current registration rate is $150 per player until January 28th. After January 28th the fee will be $200 per player (paid in full).
